From a young age, the power behind written words has fascinated me. Writing is who I am. It is why I exist. I always knew I had a talent for stringing sentences together, but my professional writing career didn't begin until 2007-- at the ripe age of 19.
I was oblivious to the lengths my passion could take me until I was introduced to the online writing world. I started at the bottom by blogging, writing for content mills, and juggling journalism on the side. As I energetically began my journey as a new writer, my aspirations took a sudden turn once I was introduced to keywords, algorithms, and the deep inner workings of the internet.
After writing a few books and co-owning a series of lifestyle websites, I quickly fell in love with all things SEO and SEM. Unskilled and unknown, I crept my way up the SEO ladder by helping small businesses develop their brand. Young and ambitious, I continued to seek bigger and better fish.
As time has ticked by, I've built my career and reputation as an SEO professional. Over the years, I've held freelance and contract positions with multiple top 5 marketing firms in the U.S. I've had the opportunity to work with clients and companies from around the world, including many well-known brands and businesses.
